Honey Mustard Baked Salmon

INGREDIENTS

  • ⅓ cup Cook’s Pantry whole grain mustard
  • ⅓ cup honey (100% natural honey preferred)
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 pound salmon side (deboned & skinless preferred)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley

DIRECTIONS

Honey & Whole Grain Mustard Sauce:
  1. Mince the garlic, and throw it in a bowl with the mustard, honey, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper. Whisk until combined.
  1. Heat oven to 375°F.
  2. Line a baking sheet large enough to comfortably fit the salmon with a large sheet aluminum foil.
  3. Spray the foil with a no stick spray. (Or brush with oil.)
  4. Lay the salmon down on the foil.
  5. Begin generously spooning the honey mustard sauce on the salmon, make sure to spread it enough so the entire salmon is covered.
  6. Fold the foil up and around the salmon so that it is covered, you can use another sheet of foil to cover the top if needed. You want enough room for there to be a pool of sauce for the salmon to rest in.
  7. Bake for 18 minutes (Add or subtract a minute or two if the size of your salmon is relatively small or large.)
  8. Remove the top of the foil and change oven setting to broil, cook for another 3-5 minutes. Be careful to not burn the sauce.
  9. Take the salmon out and sprinkle chopped parsley over the salmon.
